I wanted something to keep my fishing rods from banging around in the bed of my truck. This was priced great and fits perfect on my bed rack. Holds 10+ rods easy. Made of plastic and aluminum, but seems pretty strong, at least strong enough for fishing rods.
Got these for my 2020 Mazda CX-5, and they are perfect! I have factory cross bars and these where super easy to install onto them. Does the job, for half the price as brand name ones. Highly recommend.
Arrived earlier than expected. 15 minute easy install. Easily secures and locks rods in place. Only concern is the quick release brackets. While it's an easy on/off connect to roof racks, thieves could realize it also especially if you have something locked in them and simply take the whole set up. You do get what you pay for and at this price, I'm happy
I was tired of looking at the name brand ski racks like Yakima, Thule, and rhino for 3-4 times the price. These are truly a bang for your buck option. I clamped some fishing poles in and drove over 4,000 miles with no issues at all. Very easy to install and the locking mechanism is solid. Comes with 2 keys.
